Dr Sandeep Gupta

Dr. Sandeep Gupta

Dr. Gupta graduated from medical school at the University of Queensland in 1999. Since then he has served in a range of public and private hospitals in the South-East Queensland region, as a cardiology, medical and anaesthetic registrar. He also has five years of experience working in Intensive Care, particularly in the area of post-cardiac surgery care. Dr. Gupta then went on to invest many years training in integrative medicine and was awarded a Fellowship of the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM) in 2008 and a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2010. He also has physician training certification with Dr. Ritchie Shoemaker in chronic inflammatory illness and a Masters of Nutrition with Dr. Gabriel Cousens. Other major influences include William Wolcott CN, Robert Marshall PhD, and Dietrich Klinghardt MD PhD.

Dr. Gupta established the Lotus Institute of Holistic Health in 2017, to provide training in integrative medicine for those who seek it. He also had an advocacy role in integrative medicine, with a prior position on the ACNEM board, and a current position on the Australian Integrative Medicine Association (AIMA) advocacy committee. He is a founding board member for the Australian Chronic Infectious & Inflammatory Disease Society (ACIIDS) and a founding diplomate member for the International Society of Environmentally Acquired Illness (ISEAI).

He currently is director and head physician at the integrative practice Lotus Holistic Medicine at Maroochydore on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Queensland Australia.

Mr Caleb Rudd

Caleb Rudd

After graduating with a degree in Information Technology (Information Management) from QUT Caleb worked as a web designer in London until coming down with ME/CFS and CIRS in the early 2000s. This set him on a quest to understand complex chronic illness that continues to this day.

His collaboration with Dr. Sandeep Gupta began in 2015 on Mold Illness Made Simple that launched in October 2016. Caleb specialises in analysing peer reviewed and anecdotal research and breaking down these complex topics into more accessible formats such as PowerPoint slides, Google docs and blogs for online learning courses, webinars and face-to-face training seminars.

He also works for ISEAI, ACIIDS & volunteers for Toxic Mould Support Australia.

Dr Anjana Arunachalam

Dr. Anjana Arunachalam

Anjana is an Integrative General Practitioner who combines the latest evidence based medical and complementary therapies with her clinical experience to help her patients. She has a wealth of experience in chronic fatigue syndrome and body “burnout”. She has also completed extensive training into microbiome dysfunction including Large Bowel dysbiosis and Small Intestinal Bowel Overgrowth (SIBO). Anjana believes these two areas, when addressed on top of a solid foundation of nutritional and mind body medicine (ACNEM FELLOW), can improve the quality of life for those patients debilitated by chronic illness. Anjana’s paediatric practice also gives her great joy. Recently a mother, she uses her personal experience and medical knowledge (MINDD Certification) to help address digestive and behavioural problems in children. She loves increasing her knowledge and is currently completing a Bachelor of Herbal Medicine. Anjana also enjoys oil painting and cooking.

Ms Nicole Bijslma

Nicole Bijlsma

Healthy Home Expert, Nicole Bijlsma is a building biologist, bestselling author, PhD candidate and CEO of the Australian College of Environmental Studies (RTO 21740) which she established in 1999 to educate people about the health hazards in the built environment. Nicole is a former naturopath and acupuncturist, has lectured at tertiary institutions for 30 years, Nicole has published in peer reviewed journals, has written extensively for Body+Soul newspaper (Herald Sun), is regularly consulted by the media to discuss mould, electromagnetic fields and toxic chemicals, and lectures in Australia and abroad about environmental health issues. Nicole has conducted almost 30 interviews on every major television network (Sunrise, TODAY show, 7PM Project, Channel 7 news, The Circle etc) in addition to numerous radio interviews (ABC etc).
